Hair and Makeup Trial
I had my hair and makeup trial, and I was really impressed with how everything came out. I am so happy I decided to go with loops instead of a more traditional French twist. I loved my makeup as well, mineral makeup feels nice and light and it has amazing coverage. I just need to find a different lipstick option, possibly a lip stain? My hair stayed up all afternoon and evening, my makeup was still in tact as well after a 90 degree day with high humidity.
I booked a spa!
I booked the bridal area at a spa for the girls and I to get ready at on the morning of the wedding. It is also going to be the site of my bridesmaid's tea. The bridal area consists of two dressing rooms and a large sitting area on the lower level of the spa. All I had to do to book the bridal area was book an appointment for myself. I've never been to a spa, so I decided to take full advantage of everything the spa has to offer. On the Thursday before the wedding, I'll have a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. Then on the morning of the wedding I will have my hair and mineral make-up done. Several of my bridesmaids have decided to join me on Thursday for a spa day. I am beyond excited.
Hair Inspiration
My hair is long, baby fine, and high maintenance. If it is windy out, or if I do not brush it out every couple of hours it goes limp and stringy. This is not something that I want to worry about on the wedding day, so I am opting for a complete up-do. I really love the look of the up-dos below, specifically the "loops." I brought these pictures with me when I booked my hair appointment at the spa, and the bridal consultant said that the spa had a stylist that specialized in this type of up-do. My hair trial will be sometime in August, I can't wait to see how it comes out.

Make-Up Inspiration
My make-up artist will be applying mineral make-up because it is light weight and will even out my skin-tone. My best features are my eyes, and I really would like my make-up to bring them out, so I would like to go with the smokey-eyed look. For my nails, I will be getting a classic French manicure, I am not sure what I want for my toes yet.
