Bridesmaid's Tea
I have heard several horror stories of bridesmaids and the bride fainting during the wedding ceremony because she did not eat anything during the day. I decided early on that I was going to make sure that everyone eats something before the wedding ceremony, and I am using this as the perfect excuse to hold a bridesmaid's tea.
The bridesmaids, groomswoman, our mothers, and I will be getting ready at a local day spa. Before everyone gets ready, we are going to have tea in the sitting area of the bridal suite. I am planning to serve quiche, fresh fruit, and pastries along with tea, coffee, juice, and mimosas. I am also going to give everyone a handmade necklace that matches mine. The bridesmaid's necklace will be pearls with green crystals, our mother's will have pearls with clear crystals, and I have no idea what I am doing for the groomswoman yet.
I am also undecided on what to do for food for the rest of the morning, I might something delivered for lunch, or I might just bring enough finger foods to the tea so that everyone can munch throughout the morning while we are getting ready. The goal is to have a low-key relaxing morning.
