All Things Paper

The more I get into this, and as my guest list continues to expand, I am beginning to realize how daunting of a task it is going to be to make all my wedding stationary. At the same time, I'm a crafty person, and I love the recognition that I get for a job well done.

Monograms

I made these with the Open Office version of PowerPoint, it's really easy, the only tricky part is that you have to push the "print screen" button on your keyboard when you are finished and then paste everything to a paint file in order to export it into a .jpg file. That sounds complicated, but it really isn't.

Save-the-Date Magnets

Picture
I ordered my Save-the-Date magnets through VistaPrint. They offered me such a good price that there was no way that I could make them from scratch for cheaper. They are done in our wedding purple, and have one of our engagement pictures on them. They also contain the address for our wedding website. I can't wait until my order comes in, so that I can see them in person! I don't plan on mailing them out until January, both so that I can have a little more time to finalize my guest list, but also so that they don't get lost in the hustle and bustle of Christmas cards.

Save-the-Date Cards

Picture
I decided to make cards to put my magnets in for when I mail them out. They are really simple, I folded a half sheet of cardstock in half and attached some computer print outs. The front says "It may have started out as a friendship, but somewhere along the way, Jenny and Tom fell in Love." The inside contains information about hotels and rental cards for my guests. I attached the magnets with removable adhesive.

Invitations

Picture
I ordered samples from paperandmore.com and played around for bit and this is what I came up with. I had two huge sources of inspiration the first being my love for pocketfolds, the second being a photo invitation that I saw on Rexcraft. I fell in love with the invitation immediately, but I knew that I could make the same thing for a significantly lower cost. My invitation has four inserts; a reception card, a directions card, an accommodations card, and an RSVP card with envelope.

Program Mock-Up

Picture
This is a rough mock-up of my wedding programs. I want to use a different shade of purple card stock, and I need to experiment with the layout of each page. The tags will have our names and 9.10.11.

My programs contain: the order of the wedding ceremony, a description of our ceremony (because we are doing things different than usual), the wedding party, information about the fort, and a special thanks to our family and friends. I need to play around with the formatting a bit, as of right now, my program is nine pages long, and that is simply not realistic. Fortunately, I have plenty of time to play around with things.

Photo Sharing Cards

Picture
I ordered these at the same time I ordered my save-the-date magnets through VistaPrint. I got an amazing price, 250 for free! Can't go wrong there. They didn't have any business card templates that matched my colors, so I went with a nautical theme instead. I plan on having one of these at each place setting, and I should have enough over to put in thank you cards too!

Wedding Party Newsletter

Picture
Our entire wedding party is from out-of-state so we created a newsletter to keep everyone informed of wedding information. The first page contains a note from me and Tom, as well as our contact information. The second page contains information about wedding attire, specifically a description of what each member is wearing, the dress style number for the ladies, deposit information, measureme
